FRANCES CAMPBELL

MSN, RN, MEd, PMHCNS-BC, FIAAN

Ms. Campbell is an Advanced Practice Board Certified  Psychiatric Nurse who is also Certified in Addictions Nursing.  She has a broad base of experience ranging from direct treatment (both inpatient and outpatient) to training (presents nationally on the topic of Dual Diagnosis) to  clinical writing  (co-authored two texts on Dual Diagnosis) and  program design. She formerly served as Program Director of the Center for Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Services, a program that she helped to design and implement at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in 1987. Ms Campbell has been with Isaly Counseling Associates  since 1998. She works with adults and couples.

BILL DORN

M.Div., LPC

Mr. Dorn has been with Isaly Counseling Associates for the last 16 years. He has over 28 years of experience in the field of counseling. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and specializes in the treatment of men's issues, stress management, anger management, dual diagnosis, co-dependency, sexual minority, shame and guilt and life-purpose issues.  He also provides critical incident stress debriefing (CISD) counseling to area companies. He holds a Master’s Degree in Divinity from the Washington Theological Union, Silver Spring MD.  Mr. Dorn provides EAP services to military personnel and their families as an in network provider in the Military One Source (MOS) program through Beacon Health and the US Department of Defense. Throughout his career he has held both managerial and clinical positions in Pittsburgh area treatment facilities. He has presented trainings on Adolescent Addiction, Addiction and Spirituality, and Boundaries in the Workplace. His clinical approach is individualized to the counseling needs of each of his clients and he seeks to provide a safe therapeutic environment so his clients will experience personal empowerment so necessary for desired change.

CONSTANCE L. LAPPA

Ms. Lappa is a licensed clinical social worker and AASECT certified sex-therapist who has been in private practice for over 20 years. She counseled women and their families at Magee Women's Hospital for many years regarding issues related to complicated pregnancies, pregnancy loss, infertility, sexual assault and breast/gynecological cancers. Besides those areas, Ms. Lappa treats clients with anxiety/panic disorders, depression, post-partum depression, medical /disability concerns, couples issues, and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. As a sex therapist, she has a special interest in treating a variety of sexual concerns in men and women.  Ms. Lappa has been published in professional journals and books (chapters) and has been a speaker for community and professional groups on numerous occasions. She is an adjunct professor at both Robert Morris University in the undergraduate Social Sciences Department and at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Social Work in the Master’s program. She treats individuals and couples of all genders, sexual orientations, cultures and faiths.

DEB COHEN

Ms. Cohen obtained her Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Houston/Clear Lake in 1982. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Registered Art Therapist. Ms. Cohen has been practicing for over 30 years, primarily in substance abuse treatment, working with both adolescents and adults. She has experience working with individuals, groups, and families. Additionally, she worked with the treatment of perinatal (pregnant women) for 8 years.

 

Ms Cohen has over 30 years working with issues around substance abuse disorders, codependency, & mood disorders. She has worked with adolescents, adults, couples & families. 

 

With numerous decades of clinical experience, Ms Cohen utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions & approaches. She actively works on matching the appropriate therapeutic strategies to best meet the client's needs, skill set, & strengths. Whatever the approach, Ms. Cohen assists clients with learning to address their issues from a strength-based position. She consistently utilizes the concepts & practices of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) & Mindfulness to assist with empowering the client in gaining a sense of mastery over themselves (most importantly), & their environment, & to assist with improving functioning across all life areas.

GINGER FOX

MSW, LCSW

Ms. Fox has been a licensed therapist since 1991, having been trained as a Gestalt therapist with the New England Gestalt Therapy Institute. She received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. She specializes in treating dual diagnosis, depression, anxiety, ADHD, family issues, bereavement, and family of origin issues.  She has worked with clients who have acute mental health issues at Westmoreland Hospital and Western Psychiatric Clinic as group therapist.  Also she has been a group therapist at Gateway’s Intensive Outpatient Program for substance abuse. She has years of experience as a care manager at UPMC.  Ginny has compassion and understanding for clients on their journey of emotional healing.
